The small team behind Planetaro
We blend ancient planetary wisdom with modern, carefully crafted technology — so you can be the master of your time and the designer of your future.
Why Planetaro exists
Planetary hours are an ancient practice — but tracking them shouldn't feel ancient.
🌘 It started with a simple need
Back in 2020, calculating planetary hours meant juggling sunrise tables, spreadsheets, and guesswork. We believed this centuries-old practice deserved a beautiful, accurate, modern home on your phone.
So we built Planetaro — first for iOS, then Android and the web.
✨ Where we are today
Today, Planetaro helps over 100,000 people align their days with the Chaldean order of the planets — with widgets, Live Activities, alarms, moon phases, and a free web calculator.
We're still a small, independent team. Every feature is designed, built, and answered for by the people on this page.
Who creates the magic
A tiny crew with a big sky. We design, build, and grow Planetaro together with our community.
Muhammed founded Planetaro in 2020 and builds the app end to end — from the astronomy engine that computes every planetary hour to the widgets on your lock screen. Obsessed with accuracy, simplicity, and craft.
♄ Ruling planet: Saturn — structure & mastery
Kirston is the voice of Planetaro — running our community, social channels, and newsletter, and turning planetary wisdom into content you actually want to read. If you've talked to us, you've probably talked to Kirston.
☿ Ruling planet: Mercury — communication & connectionOur values
Accuracy first
Planetary hours are only useful if they're right. Our calculations are location-aware, real-time, and true to the ancient Chaldean order.
Craft over clutter
No ads shouting at you, no bloat. Just a calm, carefully designed tool that respects your attention and your practice.
Community-grown
Planetaro is shaped by the practitioners who use it. Most features started as a message from someone in our community.
