By accessing or using Planetaro's mobile applications (iOS and Android), website, and related services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using our services.

1. Service Description

Planetaro is an astrology application that calculates planetary hours based on your geographic location. The Service includes:

  • Planetary hours calculation and display
  • Moon phase tracking
  • Notifications and alarms for planetary hour transitions
  • Home screen, lock screen, and watch widgets
  • Live Activities (iOS)
  • Calendar export
  • Related website content (blog, guides, tools)

These features are provided for informational and entertainment purposes. Planetaro does not provide professional astrological, financial, medical, or legal advice.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use the Service. By using Planetaro, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3. Free and Premium Features

Free Features

Planetaro is free to download and use. Free features include basic planetary hours calculation, daily planetary hour information, and limited widget functionality.

Premium Subscription

Additional features are available through a premium subscription ("Planetaro Premium"). Premium features include advanced widgets, Live Activities, extended notifications, calendar export, and other features as described in the app.

Subscription Plans

  • Monthly — billed monthly, auto-renews until cancelled
  • Yearly — billed annually, auto-renews until cancelled, may include a free trial period

Free Trials

We may offer free trial periods for premium subscriptions. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the listed price. You will not be charged during the trial period.

4. Payments and Billing

  • All payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play), not by Planetaro directly
  • Subscription prices are displayed in the app before purchase and may vary by region
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date
  • You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store settings
  • Refund requests must be directed to Apple or Google, as they control all billing

5. Platform-Specific Terms

Apple App Store

If you download Planetaro from the Apple App Store, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. In the event of any conflict between these Terms and Apple's EULA, Apple's EULA shall prevail for Apple-specific matters.

Google Play

If you download Planetaro from Google Play, you also agree to the Google Play Terms of Service. Google is not responsible for the Service or its content.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the app
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
  • Distribute, modify, or create derivative works based on our content without permission
  • Use automated tools to scrape, collect, or interact with the Service
  • Circumvent or attempt to circumvent subscription restrictions or payment mechanisms

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, trademarks, logos, and software within Planetaro are the property of Planetaro and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without prior written consent.

The planetary hour calculation methods used by Planetaro are based on traditional astrological systems that are in the public domain. Our specific implementation, interface, and presentation are proprietary.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Accuracy or reliability of planetary hour calculations, moon phases, or astrological information
  • Uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • Fitness for a particular purpose
  • Compatibility with all devices or operating system versions

Planetaro is an informational tool based on traditional astrological systems. We make no claims regarding the scientific validity, accuracy, or real-world effectiveness of planetary hour guidance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Planetaro and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenue, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any direct claims shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Planetaro at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the Service. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service ceases immediately
  • Active subscriptions will not be refunded for the remaining period (you may request a refund from Apple or Google)
  • Provisions regarding intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution survive termination

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you should discontinue use of the Service.
